Jarvis plc reports that it has now reached agreement in principle for sale of its Prismo road markings businesses

The sale comprises the Prismo Contracting Services, Prismo Product Services, Prismo Traffic Products and Prismo USA businesses.

Prismo's road markings businesses develop, manufacture and apply road markings and specialised road surfaces including anti skid surfaces and sells other road traffic products. The sale includes the rights to the Prismo name and trade marks.

Ennis Paint is the world's largest producer of pavement marking materials, and produces innovative, state-of-the-art technologies and solutions designed to promote safety for all modes of travel.

Jarvis will remain focussed on it core business strategy and is actively pursuing the repositioning of the Group around its strongest performing businesses.

The transaction is subject to final documentation but is expected to be completed within the next 10 days at which point full details will be issued to the market.
